From A Bibliography of Alexandre Dumas père by Frank Wild Reed: This journal appeared every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, from the 4th of February until the 4th of July, 1868 (66 numbers).
In this paper appeared again the "Histoire des Mes Bêtes." part of which had been issued in the original "Mousquetaire," and then re-issued in "Les Nouvelles." Here too was reprinted the first portion of "Un Volontaire de '92," of which forty-eight chapters had appeared in "Le Monte-Cristo" during 1862. The now customary succession of "Causeries" was also a, feature, among which two at least may be mentioned : one upon the genesis of "Les Trois Mousquetaires," and the other which dealt similarly with "Madame de Chamblay." There was also a fine article on the sinking of the "Vengeur" on the "Glorious First of June."
Dumas' daughter, Madame Petel, contributed to this journal.
