From A Bibliography of Alexandre Dumas père by Frank Wild Reed: As stated above, on the 18th of November, 1866, "Les Nouvelles" became a revived "Le Mousquetaire," and under that magic name continued to be published until the middle of 1867.
In this paper Dumas commenced the publication of that unfortunate romance "Un Volontaire de '92" (refer to page 395), according to his own statement, and either here or in "Les Nouvelles," a portion at least of the "Histoire de Mes Bêtes" (see page 426).
