From A Bibliography of Alexandre Dumas père by Frank Wild Reed: A translation of R. Gordon-Cumming's "Lion Hunter in South Africa," to which Dumas supplies one of his amusing chats as a preface. Three-fourths of this "Causerie" had previously been issued in "Le Monte-Cristo" for May 7th, 1857.
