From A Bibliography of Alexandre Dumas père by Frank Wild Reed: A prose drama in five acts and eight tableaux.
Alexandre Dumas père speaks of this as being commenced by him, in his letter to Napoleon III., prefixed to his drama of "Les Mohicans de Paris." Probably this was a pretty considerable fragment, for after his father's death Dumas fils completed it, and it was performed, but not very successfully.
First played at the Odéon Theatre on the 18th of March, 1878.
It has never been printed.
