From A Bibliography of Alexandre Dumas père by Frank Wild Reed: Seven regular four-line stanzas, rhyming alternately.
A translation from the Russian of Runeberg.
It finds a place in the "Impressions de Voyage : En Russie," Chapter XLIV. M. Glinel made a mistake in his "Alexandre Dumas et Son Œuvre" (1884), in stating this to be "La Tombe de Pyrrha, une Élégie;" "La Tombe de Pyrrha" is a different piece. Dumas had not at hand a copy, therefore he could not translate it for his readers, but he gave an outline of its matter. He does however give a translation of the "Élégie" by the same author.
