Dumas's third work. Drama written with Adolphe de Leuven, from Florian's Gonsalve de Cordoue.
From A Bibliography of Alexandre Dumas père by Frank Wild Reed: This, apparently the first attempt by the two friends, was borrowed, as regards idea of plot, from the "Gonsalve de Cordoue" of Florian. De Leuven vainly endeavoured to persuade a Parisian manager to accept it for one of the theatres. It is now seemingly entirely lost.
