These verses were apparently unknown to M. Glinel. They are to be found in L. Henry Lecomte's "Alexandre Dumas," pp. 238-39.
The probable date is 1830.
Dumas used the first only of the three verses in his comedy : "Le Mari de la Veuve" (1832), Scene iii. ; to this he added a second, apparently new.
