According to M. Glinel, the autograph manuscript formed part of the collection of M. Ernest Lemaître of Laon.
M. Glinel points out, in his MS. collection of Dumas' verse, three variants between the MS. and the text in "La Psyché," and seven between the MS. and the "Paris Londres Keepsake," in addition to a note supplied by Dumas.
M. Glinel does not record the appearances numbered 3 and 4.
