La Villa Palmieri

voyage/travel, pub:1843

From A Bibliography of Alexandre Dumas père by Frank Wild Reed:
A collection of articles describing places and events connected with Florence, and named after the residence Dumas occupied there for some time. It includes the account of the arrival of the news of the death of his friend the Duc d'Orléans, later enlarged for "Les Morts Vont Vite." (See page 393.)
Original edition: Paris, Dolin, 1843, 2 vols., 8vo. (M. Parran erroneously gives 1845.) To this first issue was prefaced "Un Alchimiste au Dix-Neuvième Siècle." (Refer to page 160.) Pp. 279, 239.
It now fills one volume in the standard Calmann-Lévy series, and in their "Musée Littéraire," but without the prefaced matter referred to above.
In Le Vasseur's "Alexandre Dumas Illustré" it forms part of Vol. XXI. ; also without "Un Alchimiste au Dix-Neuvième Siècle."
