From A Bibliography of Alexandre Dumas père by Frank Wild Reed: This work is plainly stated to be "Publié par Alexandre Dumas" in its issue in "Le Mousquetaire." It appeared very irregularly between December 26/27th, 1854, and December 14th, 1855, where the final instalment is followed by the intimation "Fin de la Première Partie." The work consists of the experiences of Du Couret.
Its first appearance was in the above-named journal.
Original edition: Paris, Cadot, 6 vols., 8vo., 1856-57, including some chapters previously omitted. (Quérard gives the date as 1855-56.)
Apparently this has never been included in the standard editions of Dumas' works, but its continuation, "L'Arabie Heureuse," is to be found there (see below).
Brussels: Méline, Cans et Cie., 4 vols., 32mo., 185—, as "Voyages d'Abd-el-Hamid-Bey."
