From A Bibliography of Alexandre Dumas père by Frank Wild Reed: This play has been seemingly entirely lost. It consisted of five acts, in prose, and was intended for the Ambigu Comique Theatre. Dumas refers to it in a letter to Anténor Joly, under date of February 26th, 1852. Whether this is to be taken as its precise date is not by any means certain. Mr. Gribble refers to a claim made by an adventurer, to Dumas fils, that he possessed the MS.
