The W. Harrison Cady Papers from The Smithsonian Archives of American Art
Between 1971 and 1974, over 18 feet of the personal and professional papers of Harrison Cady were donated to the Archives of American Art. The papers document Cady's long and successful career as magazine illustrator, painter and animator of the Thornton W. Burgess Children's stories, as well as express Cady as a man who viewed himself and others with quiet humor. This is a favorite collection of Judy Throm, AAA's Head of Reference.
